Mathew Knowles reveals Beyonce’s real age

Beyonce was once again the subject of internet rumors after an interview by her dad, Mathew Knowles insinuated she might have been lying about her age.

Mathew, who previously managed Beyonce in her Destiny’s Child days, said in an interview on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club that the singer was the “exact same age as P!nk.”

Beyonce’s Wikipedia lists her date of birth as September 4, 1981, while P!nk’s is exactly 2 years apart, at September 8, 1979.

“We signed to Daryl Simmons, who was partners with L.A. Reid and Babyface. These guys had this competitiveness, L.A. he had a girls group,” Knowles said in the interview.

“Bet you don’t know who his lead singer was. P!nk, she’s the exact same age as Beyoncé. There used to be this battle, which group was better. Usher, he was the same age. They were all 14 or 15 years old.”

Usher is one year older than P!nk, with his date of birth October 14, 1978.
