Jess ETA Announces His Return With New “Balance EP”
The Nigerian singer and songwriter releases a tantalizing new EP titled “Balance” featuring SGaWD and Zarion Uti.
‘The Architect’ famously known as Jess ETA makes a solid comeback with his 3rd EP “Balance”.This EP is a follow-up to his 2019 Sophomore EP, Aphrodite.

On an Afro Infused R&B EP Jess ETA declares his love for his interest and proclaims no one can love or please his love interest as he does. Fully produced by Jess ETA, ”Balance” was carefully crafted over a period of 10 months with additional sound engineering done by Doz, additional vocals by 3kene and guitars by ADG. The 6 track project features phenomenal artists such as Zarion Uti and Seddy (SGaWD).
Highly influenced by Afro-beats and Afro soul the project revolves around love serving as his compass telling the story of a protagonist that falls in love impetuously Jess ETA takes us on his journey to enlightenment through his beliefs of love, emotional manipulation before finally achieving balance with his love interest as depicted in “Resistance” featuring SGaWD. His search for balance is heavily conveyed in the EP artwork done by the talented Suleiman Gwadah “PacMartian”.

Jesse Ekagbo “The Architect” also known as Jess ETA, is a Nigerian singer/songwriter/producer who makes what he calls an “afro and R&B fruit mix”. He describes his music as ranging from relaxing; the kind of music to chill to as well as exciting; the kind of music to drill to.
He cites his relationship to music as beginning with his childhood performances in the choir.
He released his first body of work “September” an EP in 2017 and followed this up with a few singles in 2018 including “Red Velvet” which received massive airplay on radio stations in Abuja and Port Harcourt. Since then he has gone on to release “More” which featured Atlanta based Zarion Uti. This racked up over 30,000 streams on Spotify, and 60,000 streams across all platforms. He later debuted “R-Rated” with Ukrainian hip-hop heavyweight Dilla Dank. The music video gained 50,000 views on YouTube in the first week of it’s release and currently has 70,000 views and over 100,000 streams across all platforms.
These features earned him a shout out from DJ Spinall on Twitter and also got the attention of Don Jazzy who followed him on Twitter and reached out to him to listen to a few of his demos.
