Chelsea Wingback, Victor Moses ready to play any position to help Super Eagles

AS the Super Eagles get set to battle Algeria in Saturday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo, Chelsea forward, Victor Moses has affirmed his readiness to play in any position he might be assigned by Coach Gernot Rohr if it will help the team beat the north Africans. Moses, an attacker, has been converted by Chelsea coach Antonio Conte to play as a wingback in a 3-4-3 system that has yielded results for the London team. Moses also has been doing quite well much to earn the praise of the Blues manager and colleagues.

However, Moses disclosed that he was not happy playing that position, but was doing it to help Chelsea and would do the same for the Super Eagles. “I can’t say I’m not happy playing as a wingback, I’m the type who gives his all to his team regardless of where I’m playing from. I’m a forward minded player but I don’t mind playing anywhere to help my team,” he said. “Club side and national team are not the same, I can’t say where the manager will play me but I’m ready to give my best in any role,” he stressed.
