Bukola Saraki Congratulates Obaseki On Edo Election Victory

Senate President Bukola Saraki, has congratulated Godwin Obaseki on emerging winner of the Edo state governorship election.

In a statement issued on Thursday evening, Saraki said Obaseki’s success as well deserved and expected by those who have keenly followed the electioneering campaigns in the state in the last few months.

“Godwin Obaseki has proved to be a good private sector man who is also a grassroots politician. He is a good flag bearer of our great party, the APC, and a mobilizer who really showed that he will be a worthy successor to the incumbent Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

“I also congratulate Governor Oshiomhole who has in the last seven and a half years diligently served the people of Edo State and has led a vigorous campaign to sustain the APC legacy in Edo State. The Governor has shown courage, devotion and dedication in selling Obaseki to the people”, he said.
