Martins Osamudiamen (born 24 March 1995), better known by his stage name Remykid (pronounced REMY KID), is a British singer-songwriter, rapper and actor from Lewisham, South East London, England.2017 marks a coming of age moment for singer-rapper Remykid,who has quickly established himself as one of Britain’s Emerging Finest. South London based, Nigerian born Sound Engineer, singer/rapper (his unique style with Afrobashment  rap) Remykid released his debut single “Go Down” towards the middle of 2017. His most streamed song in 2017, “Go Down” collaborating with Tek & Darrella has been described as a hit and has achieved much publicity for the rapper.

His charismatic voice and sweet vocal style is familiar to that of US Rapper Lil Wayne as he was his major influence,he is also inspired by Uk artiste Not3s.

Remykid’s musical journey began when he was 15, his first release was not available on streaming platforms.He has done some Afro-Beat songs  due to him being influenced by both UK and Nigerian based artists. He later said artists now had the ability to introduce their own way and sound.

It was not long before Remykid despite he can Rap more than he can Grime or  Drill,his musical style has been grouped into the indefinable sound commonly referred to as AfroBashment, AfroSwing or Urban pop. While the sounds of his Nigerian heritage were audible in his music, a melodic synth vocal was also evident, as well as an ability to grime in the London landscape on beats.
