NEWS: The new direction in Kogi bags awards in Lagos state.

The executive governor of Kogi state & some members of the new direction
team were amongst eminent Africans honoured by the Igala community in Lagos
on Saturday, 25th November 2017 for their contributions to Igala land in
the year 2017.
The event which was endorsed by the Attah Igala, his Majesty Gabaidu
Micheal Ameh Oboni & tagged Igala Lagos Party featuring Felix Olame &
friends was conceptualised by Benita entertainment with the Onu Igala Lagos
& all Kogi ethnic leaders in attendance.
The members of the new direction team who got awards apart from the
Governor were; the Deputy Governor of Kogi state , the Chief of Staff to
the Governor, the honourable commissioner for Environment, the honourable
commissioner for Transport, the special adviser on special duties to the
Governor & the special adviser on Health.
The high powered delegation that represented the governor at the event was
led by the honourable commissioner for Environment Mrs Rosemary Osikoya,
who in her address, congratulated the Kogi community in Lagos for their
unity, focus & support for the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello.
She thanked the organiser, Felix Olame & friends, for a great event at the
prestigious National theatre with all prominent entertainers of Igala
origin united under one roof on such a historic stage as the national
theatre, she concluded that this can only happen under a dynamic & new
direction government.
An array of dignitaries & celebrities graced the epoch event.
