Simi Confirms Adekunle Gold’s Song “ARIWO KO” Is Dedicated to Davido
YBNL Toaster , Adekunle Gold kicked started the visual campaign of his hit album, Gold with a video of controversial track, “Ariwo Ko” which full meaning translates to, “Noise Doesn’t Make It Good Music”.
Propaganda specialist online started picking pointers from the lines in the song, like,
“Your papa get money you dey do anyhow, stepping on the poor forget tomorrow”… Many on social media believe this line is related to a musician in Nigeria who likes showing off his rich dad and don’t give a hoot about the poor..
Another controversial line in the song, which seems directed to someone in his own label says,
“No be only you go make am
gbenu dake ore o ta lo help(shut up friend, who u epp!) oo
no be only you go chop life
je gboran ore oo
ma pariwo( dont make noise friend)”.
While “Ariwo Ko” video was trending on twitter, a fan asked if Adekunle Gold was actually shading Davido on the ‘Ariwo Ko’ track, another lady with the handle, Sharon Abraham suggested it was so, since the shoe fits his personality and Simi acknowledged the statement by retweeting it with her official Twitter handle.
Simi who was the only artiste featured in the Gold Album, has been heavily linked in the past, to be in a romantic relationship with the Headies award winner whose real name is Adekunle Kosoko, but has constantly slammed this reports as untrue
