Save The Youths Conference 2019 (#STY_Conference2019)

The book of Philippians 2:3-4 reads; “Don’t do anything for selfish purposes, but with humility think of others as better than yourselves.

Instead of each person watching out for their own good, watch out for what is better for others.”

It was on this premise that ‘Save The Youths & Leadership Conference’ was born.

Exactly on the 14th day of January, 2018 two young dynamic men came together and started what is now tag; the most innovative, educative, inspiring, entertaining and yet rewarding event in the oil rich city of Eket.

Save The Youths Conference is a program that seeks to educate/empower young people through skills acquiring programs to realize their full potential.

The program is planned to be a yearly knowledge based and activity oriented leadership, entrepreneurship program in Nigeria and Africa at large. STY_Conference intends to bring together youths to deepen their leadership and entrepreneurship knowledge.

To complete the program each year, about 30 youths will attend 4 workshops.

Through the program, participants shall benefit from about 25 different interactive sessions with difference speakers.

The goal of the project is to empower young people with leadership skills to make them collaborate to change themselves and their world for better.

Our long term vision is to transform ‘Save The Youths’ Africa program into a youth leadership Academy with a world class coaches all over the world.

Eket has been violated several times with cult activities & youths restiveness.

“We came together and said never again. We take this cause upon ourselves to enlighten every youth of Eket and its environs on enculcating the positive values of life”.

With the testimonies pouring in from the First edition,

Save The Youths Conference 2019 (Season 2) will be bigger and better.

With even more bigger personalities indicating interest to join the event, “we are already excited about the massive success/impact this event will have in the life of Eket youths”.

DRUG ABUSE,
