Ronaldo Breaks Record As Madrid Go Top Of La Liga
Cristiano Ronaldo is now the leading goalscorer in Real Madrid history after he scored in the victory over Levante at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday.
The Portuguese scored the second goal in a 3-0 victory with a low shot from the edge of the area.
Real Madrid had already celebrated the feat in a ceremony at the beginning of October, but a goal in September against Real Sociedad where Ronaldo scored a 74th minute free-kick that deflected off the back of team mate Pepe into the net, was awarded to the Brazilian defender
His goal on Saturday however ensured that Ronaldo has scored 324 goals in just 309 games, surpassing Raul who took 431 more games to reach 323 Real Madrid goals.
