Rihanna now has more No. 1 hits than Michael Jackson, while Drake thanks singer for his success

Rihanna's single "Work," and latest album "Anti," have topped the Billboard charts.

Rihanna’s single “Work,” and latest album “Anti,” have topped the Billboard charts.

Rihanna is working the charts, beating King of Pop Michael Jackson for most No. 1 hits.

“Work” — the 28-year-old’s recent collaboration with former flame Drake —topped the Billboard singles chart on Monday, making her the third artist in music history with the most No. 1 singles.

The “Thriller” singer had danced his way to the top 13 times. Rihanna fittingly surpassed him on the same day she dropped a steamy music video starring the “Hotline Bling” singer.

Having now passed Michael Jackson, Rihanna is in a small group with The Beatles and Mariah Carey for most No. 1 hits.

The only other two artists with more top hits are The Beatles, with 20 songs, and Mariah Carey, with 18.

The Barbadian singer’s latest album “Anti,” which was released last month, is also at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The “Don’t Stop the Music” singer took to social media to celebrate the news.

“Navy you killed it this week! #NavyRDie,” she tweeted to her loyal army of fans.

On Instagram, she hilariously marked the milestone with a video of Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin strutting their stuff at a car wash.

“When me and squad found out we were number one on Billboard this week,” she captioned it, along with the hashtag “Work.”

Drake also took to social media to sweetly thank his ex for the only No. 1 songs he’s scored.

According to the singer, she has the “Midas touch.”

“Two number ones and they are both cause of you … Thank you!!” he wrote on a cute Instagram photo of the two hugging.

The other top track he’s referring to is 2010’s “What’s My Name.”

Despite success with songs like “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” the 29-year-old has never landed a No. 1 track when not counting his vocals alongside Rihanna.

His wildly popular “Hotline Bling” was the closest to almost nab him the honor.

“If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date in my mind,” he wrote on an Instagram post at the time.

“If you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool,” he continued.

Sadly, the catchy song made home at the No. 2 spot that month and never reached first place.
