REVEALED: FIFA 18 cover star unveiled after image leaked online
WORLD RECORD signing Paul Pogba will reportedly be the new face on the front cover of FIFA 18.
The Manchester United ace is set to replace Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus who was on the cover of this year’s popular football game.
The current football season has yet to finish but it appears thoughts are already going into developing FIFA 18.
The game remains one of the most popular worldwide and any footballer that features on the front cover is regarded as a huge boost to their commercial brand.
In recent years the front covers have been dominated by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo but it will be the first time Pogba will represent the game according to Game Reactor.
Creators of the game usually make an official announcement on the front cover in July.
Last year fans were asked to vote between Eden Hazard, Anthony Martial, Reus and James Rodriguez with 3.1million people having their say.
But the rumours come at an unfortunate time for the gaming giant with news that Pogba’s £89million switch to United is being investigated.
Football’s governing body has demanded details of payments amid claims the French star’s agent Mino Raiola will receive a staggering £41.39M in commission.
French reports claim Fifa have been investigating the Pogba deal since September 16.
