Rapper, Olamide Adedeji, Loses Mother
Olamide Adedeji, rapper and head honcho of YBNL Records, is bereaved.
The rapper’s mother, Ronke Osisanya Adedeji, has died from an undisclosed illness, TheCable Lifestyle learnt on Tuesday.
According to multiple sources close to the rapper, his mother “had been sick for some time” before her demise.
Although TheCable Lifestyle could not ascertain if she died on Sunday or Monday, a source said “her illness grew worse in recent weeks. She was in a wheelchair before she died”.
The rapper’s late mother is the second wife of his father who is also deceased.
Olamide’s mother has three children; the rapper, an elder sister, and DJ Enimoney.
Both Olamide and DJ Enimoney have shared pitch black images on their respective Instagram pages.
“There’s no idol like a mother,” Olamide wrote in Yoruba language.
In November 2015, the ‘Science Student’ rapper lost his father.
At the time, he wrote on Instagram: “O God, who hast commanded us to honor our father and our mother; in Thy mercy have pity on the soul of my father, and forgive his trespasses; and make me to see him again in the joy of everlasting brightness.”
His mother’s passing was announced on the fourth birthday of his son, Maximilliano.
