‘Pastor Adeboye Is Not A True Representative Of God’ – Oluwo Of Iwo
Oba Dr. Abdul Rasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1, has accused Pastor Enoch Adeboye, along with other pastors and Imams, of not being true representatives of God.
According to the Oluwo of Iwo, renowned pastors, such as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG,the founder of Winners Chapel,Bishop David Oyedepo, and Imams do not have total divine authority, Daily Post reports.
Speaking at the City People Culture Lecture in Iwo, OsunState, the Oluwo said only traditional rulers, not pastors or Imams are true representatives of God, adding that the power and importance of kings should never be dismissed.
In a bid to stress his point, he also said that pastors or Imams can only pray, while traditional rulers have the divine authority, from God, to decree.
“The importance of a traditional Oba cannot be over emphasized. The words and utterances of the Oba holds more divine relevance than any man who is not a king.
The power that God almighty bestowed upon a king cannot be overemphasized. Sadly, the highly placed throne of a traditional king has been relegated due to loss of value for culture and misconception of history.
Any nation that relegates the title of Oba has lost every sense of leadership that represents a divine purpose of the almighty.
