No Air: woman looks to squeeze $24 million out of American Idol over song ownership
She claims the hit song ‘No Air’ by Jordin Sparks is hers, but she received no credit.
Nearly a decade after the release of the smash hit ‘No Air’ by Jordin Sparks in 2007, a woman named Molasses Jones has come out to claim that she wrote the song, and she is suing the producers of American Idol for not giving her credit or even paying her a cent.
She claims the producers by some means got an access to her private journals and stole the lyrics. Since the producers made millions from the song, she is asking for $24 million dollars in the case.
