NMVA 2016: Unlimited L.A beats Clarence Peters to win the Best Director award for ‘Emergency’

Unlimited L.A will have a merry Christmas after winning the Best Director honour at the 2016 Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA) on Thursday, December 15.
His award was for the video to D’banj‘s ‘Emergency’ which was released in February and presently has over 900,000 views on YouTube.
Olu Maintain, Eldee, Samklef and Vector made cameo appearances in the music video shot in Lagos.
Unlimited beat Clarence Peters, Adasa Cookey, Mattmax and Avalon Okpe to the award.
Some of the cinematographer’s other major works in 2016 include Falz’s ‘Bahd Baddo Baddest’, Olamide’s ‘Konkobility’, Pasuma’s ‘Change’ and Yung6ix’s ‘For Example’ featuring Stonebwoy.
‘Emergency’ is also nominated for ‘Best Music Video’ at the 2016 Headies.
The award ceremony will take place on December 22 at Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
