Nigeria Remain 53rd In FIFA World Rankings

In the newest world rankings released by FIFA Nigeria have been placed 53^rd in the world picking up just one more ranking point and remaining unchanged from the last FIFA ranking.

Argentina remain number one in the World while Algeria remain number one in Africa. Wales have moved in front of England in the FIFA rankings for the firsts time in history was England dropped two positions to 10^th while Wales remained 9^th in the world with Chile jumping from 10^th to 8^th. Nigeria’s opponents on Saturday, Tanzania are still ranked 140^th in the world, suffice to say; it would be a disaster if the Super Eagles lose to them while Belgium maintain 2^nd position ahead of Germany, Colombia and Brazil in 3^rd 4^th and 5^th respectively.

Seychelles were the worst performers, dropping 7 positions to 192^nd in the world while Fiji made the biggest jump; a 17 position leap to 181^st.
