Many People Feared Dead As Huge Explosion Rocks Yola

The Motor Park in Yola, Adamawa state has been the site of a huge explosion on Tuesday evening.

The explosion was of such magnitude that it was felt all over capital city, according to an eyewitness, Mohammed Dansabe, who spoke to Premium Times, adding that the number of dead people was so much, it couldn’t be counted.

“I am currently at the scene and we are helping to evacuate injured to the Hospital, there are many dead bodies all over the place,”  Dansabe said.

The explosion reportedly happened close to the vegetable market, just as traders were closing and heading home.
