Jose Mourinho Says No Chance Of Him Being Sacked
Jose Mourinho has no sacking fears
Chelsea’s boss Jose Mourinho has revealed he would not be sacked by the Chelsea board, irregardless of how bad Chelsea’s season ends.
A loss to Southampton left The Blues with 8 points from their first 8 games, and Mourinho said that even then, he still wouldn’t be sacked.
‘No. I met the owner before dinner so, when I went to dinner, I knew. But even before that, I knew what brought me here,’ Mourinho said.
‘I know the conversation we had two years ago. I knew what made me sign a new contract, and the reasons the owner and board decided to give me a new contract.
‘They didn’t have to. I still had two years, so they didn’t have to give me a new contract. So what I know is what I know from them.
‘Obviously, after a bad result – which is not the first bad result of the season – I was far from happy. Far from it. But I never felt about it.’
What do you think? Will Mourinho avoid the axe?
