Behind every fictional tiny dick, there’s a snickering writer. Game of Thrones series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss finally got candid about the inspiration behind the diminutive member of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) in a new interview with Esquire. According to them, the compact phallus was required to achieve fairness.

“There has to be some downside to being Kit Harington, right?” Benioff and Weiss, referencing the “What kind of god would have a pecker that small?” line from season 6, told Esquire. “It seems only fair. He’s handsome, talented, smart, and so decent to the core that it’s impossible not to like him. Maddening. The one thing we can do is saddle his character with a tiny pecker.” That’s commendable, really.
