French Montana Befriends Chimpanzee

French gets close and personal with a female chimp

Among other things, French Montana is famous for owning a pet Weeper monkey named Julius. Julius isn’t the only monkey after his heart; yesterday, French shared footage of his friendship, and budding romance, with a female chimpanzee.The video shows the chimp snuggling with French and planting a few kisses on his cheek upon her trainer’s command. “My new girlfriend,” French says. “On new boo alert. They mad at us princess.”

“I’m an animal lover and since I was young I always wanted an animal,” French told XXL last year. “And especially a monkey, they’re the closest thing to humans. I feel like I always had a dream that I was gonna come out one day to my show with my monkey with me.
