Ugandan rapper, Navio has applauded Nigerian music for the world.
‘Wow, Naija music is everywhere, it’s really coming to the forefront,’ he opened up to HipTV
Years back, Congolese music stars, Awilo Longomba and Koffi Olomide dominated the continent.
‘It is a fresh new style; Congo took over African for a few years, why can’t Nigeria do the same,’Navio added
The rapper also remarked that it could be Mozambique or Liberia next.
Navio has collaborated with Nigerian artistes including D’banj, Burna Boy, Femi Kuti,Modenine, and Dr Sid in the past.
He is also a member of campaigning and advocacy organisation, One8, alongside 2face Idibia, Fally Ipupa, Kenya’s Amani and more.
