Drake’s label expands as OVO Sound has picked up Plaza, an R&B artist out of Toronto.
Oliver El-Khatib announced the signing at the end of tonight’s episode of OVO Sound Radio, where he also played Plaza’s new project. “Before I leave gonna play Shadow, an EP by Plaza, the newest member of the OVO Sound family,” he said. Oliver previously played “Personal” from Plaza during episode 41 of the radio show.
While Drake has yet to congratulate Plaza on joining the team, social media posts from OVO Sound have shared or reshared Plaza’s new project, which is listed as OVO Sound/Warner on iTunes and Apple Music.
