Chris Brown and Wizkid yesterday (8th October) performed in Kenya at the Mombasa Rocks Music Festival held at Mombasa Golf Club, Mama Ngina Drive, Mombasa.
They both put up a great performance that excited the fans at the show. The performances at the event was worthy the wait!
However, the very high tickets costs; KEX 10,000( USD 100) for ordinary tickets and KEX 20,000 (USD 200) for VIP tickets meant that most fans that would probably attend this event never attended as they couldn’t afford the tickets.
While the organizers expected between 12,000 and 15,000 fans at the show, our Mombasa reporter at the concert noted they got less than 3000 fans altogether. Fans interviews blamed the poor and underwhelming turn up on the very high ticket costs.
