Boko Haram beheads residents after attack on Borno village
No fewer than 14 people were killed after Boko Haram members attacked Kamuya village in Borno State yesterday December 10th. There are reports that a few people were beheaded. Kamuya is the village of the mother of the Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai.
Residents of the village say the sect members who arrived on foot and bicycles, started shooting sporadically and burning down homes immediately they came into there village. One of the village, Ibrahim Babagana who spoke to AFP said
“This morning (Friday), some of us went back to the village. We found 14 bodies. Some of them were decapitated and their heads placed on their torso. Seven others were shot dead. They have all been buried. The entire village has been razed.”.
