Beyonce’s Lemonade gets 4 Emmy nominations

Beyoncé has scored 4 Emmy nominations for Lemonade.She also earned her first nomination for Outstanding Directing.

The categories are :

Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special
Outstanding Production Design For A Variety,
Nonfiction, Event Or Award Special,

Outstanding Picture Editing For Variety Programming,
Outstanding Variety Special
This isn’t the first time one of Beyonce’s projects has been nominated for an Emmy. On the Run Tour: Beyonce and Jay Z was up for Outstanding Special Class Program in 2015, and her Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show in 2013 was also up for Outstanding Special Class.

In Lemonade, Beyoncé shares the deeply personal story of a scorned lover (the “baddest woman in the game”) who was cheated on but ultimately finds a way to forgive her “beautiful man.” The hour-long piece shows the stages of betrayal, and how rage can turn to redemption.
