Either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump (or maybe a third party candidate?) will be inheriting President Barack Obama’s 11 million Twitter followers.
The same transfer of Twitter followers will be happening for @WhiteHouse, @FLOTUS, @PressSec, and @VP. In the case of @FLOTUS, Michelle Obama’s current handle, there’s a chance that the account will be changing names to @FGOTUS (First Gentleman of the United States) if Hillary Clinton is elected president. Brace yourself for @FGOTUS sliding into your DM’s, once Bill’s got the password for that one.
