1. Don’t believe in “fairytale products”.
Fairytales are claims that seem too good to be true unless you want to believe in them. Products that claim to get your ex back and have him hopelessly addicted to you sound good if you’re Snow White and he’s one of the 7 dwarfs.

2. Don’t have “the talk” with your ex.
Calling or texting your ex to talk about a relationship he ended never works, even with magic words. Continuing to reach out to him after your he broke up with you will only make him more secure in knowing that you still love him.
This allows him to ignore you and treat you badly because he’s confident you still want him. For guys, if you have to talk about a relationship, that means you don’t have one. It has to be his idea.
3. Raise the bar.
There is one way your ex may return. It may take up to 8 weeks. For 8 weeks, don’t reach out to him or contact him in any way. Yes, this includes any possible reason you can think of.
Mark your calendar and date other guys. If during the 8 weeks, he contacts you, it’s time to raise the bar.
For example, if you were just dating before, now, require a promise ring. If you were living together, an engagement ring. Raise the bar to whatever level you’re comfortable with if you want your ex to come back and value you going forward.
If it’s been more than 8 weeks, you will need to write a very effective, 5-paragraph “Hi-Bye” letter.
