24-Year-Old Woman Shoots And Stabs Lover After Sex Romp
It is still unclear to investigators why a 24-year-old woman suddenly tried to kill her 63-year-old lover after enjoying a mid-day sex romp in a hotel.
A woman stabbed her lover multiple times with a steak knife after the two met for a motel rendezvous, deputies said.
Romonda Laman, 24, was arrested on Thursday by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said just after 12:30 p.m. they were called to the Budget Inn Motel, at 828 S. Dixie Highway in Lake Worth, on Dec. 1 about a reported stabbing. There they met with a 63-year-old man who was bleeding from several cuts on his body, according to an arrest report.
The man told deputies that he and Laman — a friend he met at church — were meeting at the hotel to engage in sexual activity, the report states. He said the two regularly perform sexual acts on one another and he gives her money to help out with her children.
According to the arrest report, the man said she was giving him a massage when she pulled out a stun gun and shot him with it. He tried to get it away from her, and then she began stabbing him with a steak knife, according to the arrest report.
It is not yet known why she attempted to kill the man, but Laman has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail on $10,000 bail.
