Chad executes Boko Haram members
10 members of the insurgent group Boko Haram were executed by firing squad in Chad on Saturday.
The 10, who were reportedly shot at the Massaguet firing range, had just been sentenced only one day earlier.
The charges them included criminal conspiracy, willful destruction with explosives, killings and illegal possessions of arms and ammunition.
Mahamat Moustapha, who was accused of masterminding attacks in Chad that left over 50 people dead, was among the executed.
The attacks prompted Chad to reintroduce the death penalty for terrorism, ensuring immediate sentencing and executing.
