Tiger Woods Arrested in Florida and Charged with DUI

Tiger Woods was arrested early Monday morning on charges of driving under the influence, according to reports emerging out of Florida.

According to WPTV, the 41-year-old golfer was arrested in Jupiter, Florida, the town he currently lives in. He was stopped on Military Trail South of Indian Creek Parkway, and brought into police custody as of 3 a.m. Monday.

Prison records indicate Woods was booked at 7:18 a.m., and released at 10:50 a.m. Monday morning.

During Woods’ now infamous fight with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, he hit a tree with his vehicle while driving under the influence. Woods was not charged with a DUI as a result of the incident.
